When you purchase a beat online, the legal jargon and licensing tiers can be overwhelming. At House of Goutier, we keep it straightforward. Here is exactly what our three licensing tiers mean, what rights you get, and which one makes the most sense for your current project.
1. The Non-Exclusive License
Think of this as the "Drafting Phase."
When you purchase a Non-Exclusive license, you are essentially leasing the beat. You get a high-quality audio file to record your vocals over, but the beat remains on our site for other artists to lease as well.

Artists working on unmonetized (depends on the Agreement) mixtapes or YouTube drops.

2. The Premium License
This is the sweet spot for the serious independent artist.
The Premium license gives you the commercial rights you need to push your track to DSPs like Spotify, Apple Music, and Tidal. More importantly, Premium licenses usually come with higher audio quality (often including WAV files or trackouts/stems), allowing your mix engineer to perfectly blend your vocals with the instrumentation.

3. The Exclusive License
This is the "All-In" investment.
When you buy the Exclusive rights, the beat is officially yours. The item is taken off the website and all other platforms unless specifically agreed on, by both parties: Points on the Master, Publishing/Composition, Sync, and other forms of Exploitation and etc.
And it can never be sold to anyone else by us. You own the master recording of the song you create with it, with unlimited streaming, radio, and monetization caps. And with us, it would be in perpetuity. You could see this as buying an item at Walmart, with a little more benefits tied in on the Contractual side. But remember it is an Agreement between two parties that are trying to get the best for their side. Teamwork makes the dream work, but don't be foolish.
